ABOUT CAROLYN PENA

 

 

I'm a visual artist.  I've been making art of one kind or another since I was a kid, creating drawings, doodles, greeting cards and comic strips for friends and family as soon as I discovered that I was pretty good at it.  

Over the years I discovered a variety of media with which to make art, and at this point I really love it all, including traditional oil painting, creating theatrical props, making dioramas, collages, and set and scenic painting. 

 

 

I have worked on prop design and scenic painting for theater for the past two years.  I also do commissioned portrait painting for private buyers.
